The Oklahoma Region is excited to invite you to 2022 Regional Assembly April 29-30.  Harvard Avenue Christian Church, Tulsa is hosting, and the events will also be live-streamed as we explore “More Than a Moment: Rejoicing in our Story.”

Activities include

A free tour of Greenwood Rising Museum.
Three workshops with master storyteller Rev. Rebecca Anderson
Preaching by the dynamic Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, one of the nation’s most influential African American leaders
And the Region’s biennial business meeting

Join Us For 2022 Regional Assembly

The Oklahoma Region is excited to invite you to 2022 Regional Assembly April 29-30, 2022. Harvard Avenue Christian Church, Tulsa is hosting in-person attendance, and events will be live-streamed as we explore “More Than a Moment: Rejoicing in our Story”.

Friday afternoon offers a free tour of Greenwood Rising Museum followed by conversation with Phil Armstrong, former head of the Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission.

Master storyteller Rev. Rebecca Anderson’s three workshops include the theology of storytelling, storytelling as spiritual practice, plus experiential performances.

The dynamic Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, one of the nation’s most influential African American leaders and author, will preach at Saturday morning worship. She is senior pastor of Ray of Hope Christian Church (DOC) in Decatur, Georgia.

The Region’s biennial business meeting includes a state of the Region address, review of a change to the bylaws, and voting on new officers for the Regional Board.
