April 6: Northeast Oklahoma Disciples Women 2019 Spring General Meeting
You are invited to join the Northeast Oklahoma Disciples Women for the 2019 Spring General Meeting. The meeting will take place on April 6, 2019 at 10am at Bethany Christian Church located at 6730 S. Sheridan Road, Tulsa, OK.
Dr. Ellen Blue, of Phillips Theological Seminary will speak about her attributes in her book, In Case of Katrina, which studies rebuilding vs reinventing church after a disaster.

Do You Quilt or Crochet? Help Make Finger Labyrinths for General Assembly 2019
Would you like to help make finger labyrinths to be given away at General Assembly 2019? This will provide an opportunity for General Assembly attendees to feel the far-reaching witness of our Disciples Women. (Disciples Women from across the United States will be joining us in this project.)
All the details, patterns, and instructions are included below.
When you are finished please write your first name only, your congregation, and your city and state on the tags for each labyrinth.

2019 Woman-to-Woman Journey to Morocco: Submit Your Application Now
While the Woman-to-Woman Worldwide journey isn’t a ‘hands-on’ mission, it does offer a way to respond to the call for Disciples women to experience solidarity with one another, to affirm the unity of the church in Jesus Christ, and to join the common struggle for justice and peace in the world today by educating and advocating for those needs. These international, ecumenical, and personal experiences encourage faithful women to see the world through new eyes and bring that perspective back to their congregation and community. An integral part of the post-journey experience is giving presentations about their experiences and sharing what they have learned with others.

You are invited to participate in this program in a number of different ways.
- Be an actual participant on a journey. Click HERE to start the application process. The deadline to apply ends February 15, 2019.
- Pray for the participants on the annual journey.
- Support one of the service projects.
- Donate to one of the participants travelling on the journey.
- Share what you learn with others.

Please plan to join the Central Area Disciples Women of Oklahoma at New Covenant Christian Church (12000 N. Rockwell, Oklahoma City) on January 22, 2019 for the next meeting. You do not have to be in the Central Area to join. Come and be a part of an amazing group of women and be blessed with the friendship and fellowship of Disciples Women.

Pre-Orders for the 2019 Just Women Bible Study are now being accepted.
2019 Theme: The Church: Mission Possible
Click HERE to order until December 1, 2018. The 2019 Bible Study will be mailed in January 2019.
This study will highlight some of the most important lessons of the early church and challenge us to apply those lessons. Although the gospels mention the word “church” only a few times, beginning in the Acts of the Apostles, the New Testament is filled with repeated stories of the first century church, along with instructions on what it means to be the church.
