In honor of Reconciliation Sunday, pastors swap pulpits. On Sunday, September 29, 2019, Rev. Dwayne Rogers of Wildewood Christian Church, OKC and Rev. Daniel U’ren, from Western Oaks Christian Church exchanged pulpits for the day.

Pastor Dwayne E. Rodgers, a 1988 graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the Kentucky State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 1993.
In response to God’s call to ministry, he attended and received his Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1999 and was ordained into the order of Christian ministry through the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 2003.
Pastor Rodgers has previously served as Vice President of District II of the Texas Christian Missionary Fellowship. Prior to becoming the Pastor of Bonnie View Christian Church in 2004–2015, he served as Senior Pastor of the New Vision Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas from 1997-2003.
Pastor Rodgers is passionate about the Word of God, which is evidenced by his sermon delivery and his desire to see the church at large increased in saved souls.
