Instructions for Church Office Administrators

“Mission Possible,” Oklahoma’s 2016 Leadership Training School is coming soon on Saturday, Feb. 6. This year’s LTS will take place at First Christian Church/Restoration Church, OKC where you’ll have a chance to hear an inspiring message from Vy Nguyen, Executive Director of Week of Compassion, while worshiping in Restoration’s newly renovated sanctuary. Worship will be followed by three parallel tracks of fantastic breakout sessions on Mission, Spiritual Growth, and Practical Ministry. We’ve planned the schedule so that your congregants will have a chance to sign up early online for three workshops.

How to Register Your Church Members

Please download a registration from the link below. Please find out how many from your congregation will be attending and submit the names of those individuals. You may return the form by either:
• Emailing: office@okdisciples.org

How to Pay for Your Church Members

Cost this year is $60 per congregation for an unlimited number. If you only have a few attending, individual registration is $8 per person. Payment can be made either by:
• Mailing a check to the Regional Office
• Paying securely online using the Registration Payment button.

Childcare

Childcare for those in 5^th grade or below will be free; please indicate the need for childcare when you preregister. Youth in grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in workshops or onsite hands-on mission activities.

Publicity

Leadership Training is a success because of the very important work you do to help us publicize the event! To help you we’ve provided posters and newsletter articles available for download, which allows you to print the quantity you need for your congregation. This also helps us be good stewards of the environment and reduce the cost of Leadership Training School. If you are unable to download materials, you can obtain a print copy by emailing the Regional Office at ebeer@okdisciples.org or calling 405-528-3577.

How Church Members Sign Up for Classes

Each individual should sign up for classes online. The simple online process is one that individuals can easily complete on their own or with the help of someone from your church who is more “technologically gifted.” To sign up for classes visit the 2016 Leadership Training page. Review the class descriptions, then click the green Sign Up button. We’d like to have as many individuals complete the online sign up as possible, so if someone from your church could facilitate this process we’d greatly appreciate it!

An incredible planning team has worked hard to make this a quality event, and Leadership Training School 2016 will offer some classes that you’ve never seen before. As always there will be multiple opportunities to visit with and exchange ideas with old and new friends over a hot drink and a snack. We know your congregation will want to be a part of this informative exchange of mission and ministry ideas!
