Rev. Pamela G. Holt
Rev. Pamela G. HoltRegional Minister
• Pastoral Care
• Ministerial Search and Call
• Central, Southwest and Southeast Area Pastoral Liaison
• Commission on Clergy
• African-American Congregations Liaison
• Ecumenical Ambassador

Pam’s dad retired from Acme Brick Company after forty-eight years of service, the longest term of any employee. In his understanding of loyalty, he was quite upset when she announced she was leaving her position as a Certified Legal Assistant of nine years to start a new journey – to pursue a business degree at TCU followed by law school. Only that did not happen!

Pam did graduate from TCU (1990), but after wrestling with God’s call upon her life, she turned to Brite Divinity School to pursue a Master of Divinity (1993). Alongside the academic journey, she also served the church as Regional Youth Minister for the Christian Church in the Southwest while simultaneously serving as Trinity Brazos Area Youth Minister. She also served as Youth Minister for South Hills Christian Church, Fort Worth.

As an ordained minister, Pam has served Rosemont Christian Church in Dallas, Texas Central Christian Church in Weatherford, Texas, and First Christian Church in Mineral Wells, Texas. In January, 2015, Pam joyfully answered the call to serve as Regional Minister of Oklahoma.

Pam loves people ~ young, old, and all those in between. Creating “safe space” for people to explore their own journey and brokenness, she loves listening to their stories and then helping them turn the lens just a bit to see how God is working in and through their lives. She also loves the outdoors, hiking in Colorado to sitting in their backyard. And, she loves animals, particularly horses!

Pam is grateful for her family – her husband, Randy, a retired school administrator and most recently a retired juvenile probation officer; their daughter, AnnaCarole, a junior at TCU; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Blake & Tali, in Richmond, California; and a step-son and fiance, Brook & Carinda, in Pasadena, Texas. She is also grateful for their many friends whom they call family and with whom they share the journey of life.

FUN FACT: Pam bakes chocolate meringue pies and often gives them as delicious gifts!

Our Valuable Team Members

Ellen Spleth
Ellen SplethExecutive Assistant
Ellen is a Disciples “lifer” grateful to be a part of the regional staff. Pastors throughout her childhood at FCC Waukomis, OK were Phillips University seminary students, and her Spleth cousins are all Disciples ministers in Indiana and Illinois.

She owned her own marketing/ad agency in Stillwater for almost a dozen years, so she gets to tap her marketing savvy for the region.

A very proud G-ma to four awesome grandchildren, Ellen’s daughters live in the Tulsa metro area. Ellen is an OSU grad, loves to hike and is a Thunder fan.

FUN FACT: Ellen’s hiking adventures have taken her around the country.
